24th Annual Nevada County Woods Riders Dual Sport Event - 5/18/2024

Wow! Another Dual Sport event is in the books!

Thanks to all the volunteers, the event went smoothly from pre-running, set up, route changes (at the last minute), registration, raffle, GPS loading, lunch, sweeping, and clean up!

Each and every one of you played a crucial role in making this our best Dual Sport ever. Your dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed. I'm genuinely grateful to be a part of such a fantastic team effort. The feedback from the participants was overwhelming! For those who didn't or couldn't volunteer, you missed a fantastic weekend with your fellow club members.

Also, a special thanks for all of our sponsors. Without their support, our raffle would not be at good as it is.

A full report will be given at the next club meeting.

JOB WELL DONE!!!

Thank you for making this club the best it can be

Quincy Fall Mountain Epic

The Nevada County Woods Riders partnered up with the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship this past weekend for the Fall Quincy Mountain Epic in Quincy, CA.

The folks from SBTS really know how to host a cool event. We did trail work, rode some world class singletrack, had an awesome dinner, played games, watched Supercross in our camp, listened to music, and then rode more singletrack on Sunday.

There was definitely something for everyone and thank you to the 24 NCWR volunteers that came out to this epic event making a huge success. 40% of the volunteers were from NCWR.

On Sunday, 11 of us put in another 45 miles of riding in some beautiful country and fun trails. We even met up with some local SBTS riders that showed us some new trails that none of had been on.
