IMPORTANT RIDE INFORMATION. PLEASE READ ALL INFO.

Beginning April 15th, 2024, we will no longer be able to refund any registration fees.

NCWR is a grassroots club of volunteer motorcycle riders that build and maintain trails in the Tahoe National Forest and fight for your right to ride on OUR public lands. All proceeds of your entry and raffle ticket purchases go to our cause.

Sponsors
Our event sponsors both major and minor have really grown in the past few years. All the great raffle swag was donated by our many sponsors. Please be sure to support these sponsors throughout the year.

GPS
This is a GPS only ride. The files we will give you are supported by all brands of GPS units except Magellan. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with your GPS unit before the ride. You will not be able to take a new GPS out of the box the morning of the ride and successfully navigate the route.

Tracks
The file for this year's loop will be given to you before the ride. NCWR provides GPX files which are compatible with the majority of GPS units on the markups. We no longer support older units that can only ready 500 waypoints maximum. We will have GPS literate folks with laptops at sign up to help you, just get to sign up a little early to avoid the rush and bring your GPS cable and adapter if you have one.

Gas

The start and finish will be at Skillman Campground. This is a self-gas event and gas is available on the route. Your bike should be full of gas before the start of the track and you can get more if needed along the route. 100 mile fuel range is recommended giving you a little range cushion just in case. Gas is available on the course, so please bring cash as other forms of payment may not be available.

Lunch

Lunch this year will be a remote lunch (not at Skillman) and will be provided by NCWR.

Sign-ups

Sign-up is online. If slots are still available, signups could be available at Skillman Campground and opens at 6:30 am Saturday May 18, 2024. All riders must sign in at sign-ups.

Riders Meeting

Riders meeting is at 7:30 am, don’t be late we a have lot to cover; first rider out at 8:00 am, last rider out 8:30 am.

Check Points

There should be several check points on along the way so please stop and check in. Our goal is for everyone to have a great day on the trail and finish safely and prevent us from sending people out to look for you. Please help us make sure everyone gets back safely by checking in at the check points and lunch and especially at the finish even if you decide to leave early.

Camping & Lodging

Camping is available at nearby campgrounds on a first-come, first-served basis.  The event is approx. 15 minutes outside of Nevada City which allows for hotels, etc. in town.
